General Information
I forgot my username or password. What can I do?
To retrieve your login information, visit our Lost Password page and enter the email address attached to your account. Your username and password will be emailed to that address within minutes.
How do I change my email address?
If you would like to change the email address we have on file for you, please contact Customer Support and they will make the change.
I no longer want to receive email notifications from the site. How do I adjust my email settings?
You can select which (if any) email notifications you receive from us by going to the My Account page.

Site Features
What is the best way to find other users to contact?
There are several places you can search for other users. Who's Online has a list of all the users currently online if you would like to contact someone immediately. Our Search section allows you to type in a zip code or city and find users in your area.
What kind of additional search options are available to premium users?
For users that have upgraded their account, Advanced Search is available to let you search for users by their personal interests or their ethnicity.
How recent have the users in Who's Online been active on the site?
Users in the Who's Online section have had activity on the site within the past 10 minutes.
How do I find other users currently online in my area?
In order to find active users within a certain distance from your location, use the Search and select from the pull-down menu to sort by how long ago the users were last online.
How do I contact other users?
There are several ways to contact users on the site. You can send them a mail message. You can meet up and talk to them in our chat room. Or you can talk on video chat with them privately using our instant message system. Free members can receive messages from other users but you must upgrade your account to contact others.
I received mail that I believe is spam. What should I do?
You should report this user. To do this, click the 'Report as Spam' button below the message.
A user is being very annoying in the chat room. What should I do?
You can control whether or not you receive messages from any particular user. Use the 'Ignore' button in the chat room to prevent yourself from receiving undesirable messages. You can also add users to your block list by clicking the button on their profile.
How does video chat work?
Video chat is incorporated into both our chat room and our instant message system. If you have a webcam hookup up to your computer, you can use it to allow other users to see you while you are talking to them. Our chatroom is designed to work with almost any webcam, so getting it to work is as easy as plugging it in. You can adjust your webcam settings by right-clicking anywhere in the chat room and selecting 'Settings.'

Your Profile
What types of photos am I allowed to upload?
We have two different photo sections on the site: your profile photos and your photo galleries. You profile photos should contain photos of yourself only. This is your opportunity to allow the other users to get to know you. For premium users we also have photo galleries which allow you to post up to fifteen photos per gallery and do not require you be in them. For example, you may want to post photos of your house or cat.
What kinds of photos am I not allowed to upload?
Any photo of a person under the age of 18 is not permitted. This includes photos of your kids or pictures of you at a younger age. Any photos without your face appearing in them belong in the gallery section. Also, all uploaded photos must be less than 2 megabytes in size.
How long does it take for photos to appear on the site?
Photos you upload will appear on the site immediately. If you upload a photo that does not fall within our guidelines, the photo will be removed.
Can I make it so only certain users can see my photos?
Every user on the site can see your profile photos. You can, however, limit people from viewing your gallery photos by editing your gallery permission settings. You can make a particular gallery accessible to only your buddies. Or you can set the gallery to be 'invitation-only' which allows you to invite certain users to view the gallery.
What is my buddy network?
Your Buddy Network is a list of your friends on the website. Your buddies are displayed right on your profile and give you easy access to view their profile or contact them.
How many buddies am I allowed to have in my Buddy Network?
For free accounts, you can have up ten buddies. Premium users can have up to 100 buddies in their Buddy Network.
How long does it take to have your profile posted?
Most profiles are posted immediately after you have logged into the site for the first time. There are some cases where a profile will be flagged for approval by a member of our staff in which case it will take 24 hours for your profile to appear on the site.
Are profiles censored? Is there a limit to what I can put in my profile?
We do not censor your profile, but if your profile has a hotlink to another site, whether personal or commercial, the text will be removed and your account might be subject to termination. This is a countermeasure to prevent spammers from degrading the overall experience of our users.
How can I remove my profile from the site?
If you no longer want your profile to appear on the site, you can disable your account at the bottom of the Account Information page, or you can email customer support and they would be happy to help you.

Billing Questions
What is the difference between a free and paid user on AmateurMatch?
We currently offer two levels of membership. Free members can create their own profile and upload up to five photos of their self, view other people's profiles, receive mail, take a look at who is currently online and search for other members in their area. Paid users have the ability to send unlimited messages to other users, can perform advanced searches, gain access to video chat and instant messages, and are able to watch live webcam shows. They can view all full-sized photos on the site, access thousands of photo galleries, and much more.
How much is the monthly service?
The monthly fee for AmateurMatch is $29.95 per month.
What types of billing methods can I use to upgrade my account?
You can upgrade your account using several different forms of payment. We accept credit card payment with Visa or MasterCard. You also can upgrade your account using an online check.
I have a question about my bill. Who do I contact?
